LEC再開は6月12日！

こちらが、LEC Summer Seasonへ備えるために必要な情報の全てです！

今シーズンは予想通りに進行していないかもしれません―でも、忘れられないシーズンになるはずです。振り返ってみれば、予想もつかず前例にもないSpring Seasonでした。2020 Summer SeasonのEuropean League of Legends esportsが最高のものになるだろうことに、既に興奮を隠せません。

LECはSummer Seasonの開幕日である6月12日（金）に帰ってきます。このシーズンはWeek 1とWeek 8がスーパーウィークとなっており、金曜から日曜まで連続で試合が行われます。Week 4（最初のラウンドロビン終了時点）とWeek 8（レギュラーシーズン終了後、プレイオフ直前）が終わった後に1週間の休みを設け、予期せぬ状況に対してスケジュールの柔軟性を保てるようにしています。

アップデートされたスケジュールには、今年のSummer Finalが9月5～6日に開催されることも含まれています。また、European Mastersのスケジュールを調整し、EU Masters Finalを9月19～20日に移動させて、LECとの日程被りがないようにします。EU Masters Summerの全スケジュールは、開催が近づいたら発表いたします。

COVID-19の状況とそれによるSummer Seasonへの影響は、今後も評価を続けていきます。現在、ベルリンにある私たちのスタジオで、LECのプレイを安全に行える方法とタイミングを探っているところです―もちろん、観客も。Finalsについては、スウェーデンのマルメーで開催する予定はまだキャンセルしていませんが、Spring Finalsで行ったように、大規模な観客有りイベントから変更する可能性を鑑みて、バックアッププランを練り始めています。選手、スタッフ、メディア、そしてファン、全ての健康と安全を優先し、公式レギュレーションに最大限の配慮を行いますので、今後お伝えできる情報をお待ちください。

The LEC Returns on June 12th!

Here’s everything you need to know to get ready for the LEC Summer Season!

It may not have been the season we predicted - but it’s going to be one we never forget. As we look back on an unpredictable and unprecedented Spring Season, we’re already excited to welcome back the best in European League of Legends esports for our 2020 Summer Season.

The LEC will return with the kickoff of the Summer Season on **Friday June 12th**. This season will feature two superweeks on Week 1 and Week 8, with games played from Friday through Sunday on those weeks. We will also have two one-week breaks - after Week 4 (after the first round robin is completed) and Week 8 (after the end of the regular season and before playoffs) - to allow flexibility in our schedule in the event we need to adapt to unforeseen circumstances.


As part of this updated schedule, this year’s Summer Finals will now be held on September 5 & 6. We will also be adjusting the European Masters schedule and move the EU Masters Finals to September 19 & 20 to make sure there is no LEC overlap. We’ll share the full EU Masters Summer schedule closer to the start of the event.

We’re continually assessing the situation with COVID-19 and its impact on the Summer Season. Currently, we have yet to determine when and how we will be able to safely bring LEC play back into our studio in Berlin - including when we can welcome back a studio audience. For the Finals, we haven’t made the call to cancel our plan to bring the LEC to Malmö, Sweden, however we have started working on backup scenarios in the event we need to pivot away from a large-scale live event like we did with the Spring Finals. We’re putting the health and safety of players, crew, media, and fans first and paying close attention to official regulations, so expect an update when we have more news to share.
